The combination of tempura and cold soba noodles is such a classic dish. I could not think of anything better on a hot summer day, except perhaps a cold glass of mugi-cha to drink with it. These noodles were homemade on site and the tempura came with a flavored salt for dipping.

It’s delicious, there is a little kick, and the subtle flavor of wasabi. It’s from the same town where we saw fresh wasabi for sale everywhere (even in gas stations).
