and more bugs…
My friend Alfred brought me back this lollipop from Texas. I have not tried it yet, but I can’t wait to dig in. There is a baby scorpion inside, so I suppose it’s not technically an insect but I wanted to have fun with the title anyway. I have been assured that they are 100 percent edible. I remember a scorpion breeding friend of mine telling me once that the baby’s are more poisonous than the adults, but it turns out my friend was wrong.
I love this photo so much. I was not sure how to shoot this thing, and then I got the idea to hold it up to my computer screen with a white background. You can see the pixels getting distorted if you look at the background.
I thought you put a lollipop on the desktop slide projector.
I’m not sure I can cope with the idea of bugs in my mouth…but I do love the photo, great purple color.
@Greengrassbluesky: hahaha I actually hot not eaten this yet! It’s so pretty i don’t know if I will. I did eat the bugs in the post right after this, and they were actually pretty good!
love the color and clarity. It looks like barley sugar which gets really clear and makes great candy (I’ve eaten, but not made it). The critter inside is such a joy! Maybe put little black spiders inside lollies for Halloween!!
