I got this bowl of ramen in Aoyama last night. It was the most amazing presentation. It was my first time to see nori written on like this. The cha-shu was spectacular too!

Wow. That looks awesome. I haven’t ever seen writing on nori like that either. They must have that printed ahead of time… and the soup looks like a shoyu base? Is that right? Because it seems like the writing on the nori is describing different bases for soup – shio, red mis, white miso, etc. Anyway, very interesting stuff.
