Lamb prochutto and marmalade
I can’t say it was my best moment as a photographer, but Veno’s Lamb prosciutto and marmalade on toast are to die for. Yet another example of awesome food in Brooklyn within four blocks of my house. Bonus points to Veno for keeping the interior decor of the ancient apothecary shop they took over.

I know you are all about food p0rn, but I would have loved to see the apothecary shop interior. Back here in philly, I can’t just hop over!
Interesting! I’ve never tried lamb prochutto, how does it taste compared to the usual prochutto? and did they prepare a sandwich with lamb prochutto and marmalade together, on the toast? if so, how is that combination?
@Gladys: I can’t really remember the flavors so well. The photo was shot with my friends camera, and it took a few weeks to get the picture. I remember it had the texture of prochutto, but a more gamey lamb flavor, but not quite what I would have expected of lamb. I have to have it again to really describe it. The bread came already spread with the marmalade on it, so I was just adding a piece to a single piece of bread and eating it.
