I have said it before, but, everything is better with bacon. Now I have another item to add to that list. After a night of drinking in New Orleans, my companions and I decided to get a po-boy. The clerk who saw me taking pictures of it sparked a conversation with us and ended up telling us we could not leave New Orleans until we tried this peanut butter burger. It sounded like a fine idea to me. As you can see in the picture, the peanut butter looks a lot like cheese, but let me assure you it is not.

There is a thick coat of creamy peanut butter slathered all over that burger, melting off the sides. That is covered with plenty of bacon. It was really a great combination. The peanut butter melted enough to be just the right consistency, not too thick, and no where near as light as a regular condiment. It actually behaved a lot like melted cheese would. It was rich, and creamy and everything I had hoped it would be. I kept getting peanut butter on the sides of my cheeks, which i could not lick off, and had to use a napkin.

I could feel my arteries clogging as I ate it, and promptly settled into a food coma afterward. This is probably going to get as bad of a reaction as the Philly Taco, but, no regrets.
