Pure Food and Wine
Hilo and his family visited me from Tokyo last week. I wanted to take them to an original dining experience in New York, so I booked a table at Pure Food and Wine. It’s a raw food vegan restaurant in Manhattan. It’s very posh, and the food is very fun. I ordered papaya salad, pad thai (with squash as noodles) and for the entree croquettes, which came out of my mouth as korokke (the Japanese pronunciation) since I had been speaking Japanese all day to his parents. The server looked at me so confused 
For dessert we tried their trio of ice cream, all nut based, and coated in raw chocolate.
