We stayed at Nirvana Thai which we would for sure recommend. We rented a car at $60 for 11 days, it was by far the cheapest and a convienent way to go and it was alot of fun as well! The National Park is definitely worth while taking a tour. Also restaurants in <a href="http://www.phuket-phuket.org" rel="nofollow">Phuket Island</A> to visit are The Sweet n Spicy-romantic, delish and cool. Book a table with your feet in the pool! I just did a search because I did not really have any idea what it was, and since my Thai is limited to less then twenty words... Turns out it's not grass at all.
